Hi community

For not long time ago i saw all the edges on blocks in minecraft was black blurry and it was pretty annoying, i recently upated my GPU drivers so i thought they might be the problem. I tried running back some old drivers but it didnt work. then later that day i played Garry's Mod where the problem was too, on all the edges of buildings and props, and mostly lights. does anyone have an idea of what i could do to fix this? i've tried turning on and off almost all the settings in both the games and Nvidia controlpanel.

if you want my specs just ask:)

also while writing this i was gonna take a screenshot of a video (that i've recorded) so you can see what i mean but everytime i pause the video the black blurry edges disaper in the video?
so unfortunaly i cant show you:(

Try to take the screenshot with the "Print" button in the right upper corner of your keyboard, if it is not in the Picture anymore, it should be some trouble with your Graphics Card/Monitor or the Drivers, if so. do a fresh install on your drivers, since I see you have Nvidia, go for a custom installation and tick "Fresh Install", if that doesn't solve the problem, in the Nvidia Control Panel should be something that lets you set Settings for specific game, ther should also be a button with "restore to default". Will help you further if the Problem still remains

There are a few settings within the Nvidia control panel that could cause this but I personally have an AMD and can't remember the options in the Nvidia control any more. Try playing with the settings and see what you get, if all goes bad you can always restore defaults again.

Since you've tried all software solutions aside from a format, if you have another monitor/tv you could connect it to and see if the problem persists that could either rule out the monitor as the problem or show that the monitor is the problem.
