Hi, im getting a gaming machine after Christmas and deciding between the AMD 7870 and the AMD R9 270X. IM getting an AMD 6300

R9 270x is a rebrand of hd 7870, which makes it better han 7870 and it performs equal or near to hd 7950, so surely R9 270X is a clear winner here.

Cpu is totally fine, you can consider overclocking a bit for some performance boost. Again, go for r9 270x if you can afford it.

Though the 6300 is a good CPU better get one from Intel if you will only prefer gaming on it. Intel CPUs are better at handling games than AMD CPUs according to TomsHArdware and other websites. The R9 270X is the clear winner with benchmarks better than the old 7870 and better get a card that is not out-of-date!! And Merry Christmas in advance..
