I'm looking to find the best deal on a wireless router that I can. Been looking at some AC routers but I'm wondering if I should just stick with N for now. Im replacing my WNDR3400 that doesn't quite have enough range to cover my house. Looking for a good deal on a router that will cover a 5300 sq ft house.

Thanks for your help in advance.

AC would require upgrading all of your wireless adapters.

Even at that, your house like mine is really to big for a single radio. I would add another router configured as a wireless access point distant to the current router. You either need to connect it with an Ethernet cable or use a pair of high quality powerline adapters like the Zyxel PLA5205kit or 5215kit (Newegg has the PLA5215 kit on sale as well as a great router to add as an AP -- the ASUS RT-N56U).
