I have Gigabyte Radeon 7950 WX3 since end of previous year and have stability issues. Previously card had a bios which positioning core voltage permanently 1250 mv and 1000MHz clock. After about 5 months of use has become unstable. I tried many things and nothing helped. In the end I have heard that it is worth to upload bios F43 (unlocks and reduces voltage and reduces the clock to 900 mhz). After installing the upgraded BIOS i set the clock to the standard 1000MHz. Unfortunately, in the games card is unstable, regardless of the configuration of tension. After a random time, for example in the call of duty ghosts suddenly the picture freezes for a moment, then turns black and the game process hangs. Battlefield 3 also to crash, but I had directx error. Most interesting, however, is that in Furmark card is fully stable. I also tried to run simultaneously FurMark and OCCT to a maximum charge card and processor and to exclude the power supply and everything was all right.

Solution
Perhaps the Card OC itself to get the best performance and that is what`s causing the crash. have you checked "cataclyst control center" to see if you have OC your card? you can find it in the "performance" tab.

I think you don't understand me. After install new bios i overclock to 1000 mhz which is default and standard clock for this card declare by manufacturer.

then i dont know what might be the problem, sorry. might want to get the card tested.

only thing i can think of on top of my head is that the cables are not attached properly between the card and the mobo but i think that is one of the first things you checked.
