Replacing the cpu in a laptop?

It is an HP pavilion with a celeron b877 1.5 ghz and intel hd graphics can I replace the cpu with something that can play games like minecraft or counter strike can I also replace the graphics card? Does anyone know what I can replace it with if any? Thanks.

It is actually possible if the CPU isn't soldered to the motherboard. However, considering that your chipset is designed for your current CPU, it might to work if you change it. Usually, it isn't worth the hassle that's why you should stick to your hardware with a laptop or considering a desktop if you're into upgrading components.

Plus if you said that you only have integrated Intel HD graphics and no discrete GPU. You're stuck with one CPU. The only real upgradable parts in a laptop are the drives, RAM, and wireless card (maybe bluetooth if you care).
