I'm wanting to upgrade from my current video card, a GTX 560( http:// ) and I am fairly torn between several cards right now.

I am looking to stay approximately around 300$ or less, and have found several cards I am interested in, I just simply don't know if they will do what I need of them.

So far I've looked in to:
-GTX 670(currently $200, definitely the cheapest, and comes with Assassin's Creed 4, and some new Splinter Cell game that I might play)
-HD7970(currently $319)
-R9-280x(currently $309, comes with Battlefield 4)

The free games with those don't really make a difference for me, aside from BF4 I'd probably just end up giving them away to my friend.

What I'm looking for is a card that is capable of running games like BF4, Metro: Last Light, Arma 3, and Skyrim(modded with an ENB) at a decent frame rate.

I currently can run those games at around medium settings while maintaining 30-40fps at least, but I would like to raise that significantly.

I'm leaning towards the GTX 670 due to its price, and I have in the past had more luck with nvidia cards, but if either of the other two cards are worth the extra buck in their performance, I would like to know.

Current specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
AMD Phenom II X4 965 clocked at 3.7GHz

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated, including any suggestions of other cards around the 300$ price range(at most) Thank you in advance.

The 280x is basically a rebranded 7970, the difference is the 280x has Mantle support ready. If you found a 280x for cheaper than a 7970, do it!

As for the free games, the only one's decent are Acreed4 and Battlefield 4, of course that's just personal preference.
