Hi, so i've been thinking of upgrading my cpu and motherboard simply due to the fact that i've been getting a lot of trouble for them and now i'm just going to try and replace them. I wanted to get the 4820k cpu, but i'm not well informed about the 2011 socket mobos and I want to make sure that i'm buying the correct motherboard that supports this cpu. Here are my current pc specs of which i will be replacing two parts, the cpu and the mobo. feel free to comment on whether it's worth buying a new cpu+motherboard or not. I've been getting really annoying cpu lag in a bunch of games like bf4 and most of the new games for a while, which is why i've decided to do this..anyways, here are my specs.

i7 3770k @4.2ghz (will be replaced)
msi z77a gd65 (will be replaced)
2x SLi msi twin frozer gtx 680 2gb
Corsair High Perform Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz2x4
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 V2 850W 80+ Bronze
Corsair Hydro H70 CORE CPU Liquid Cooler
Thermaltake Chaser MK-I Full Tower Gaming Case
WD Caviar Blue 500GB SATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-6G

You need to update the bios to support the latest gen processor. Most boards out there should be already updated
