Basically, I need some fast hdmi cables capable of 120fps+ gaming at 1080p+ resolutions.

Hdmi 2.0 is required for this. I will have 3 monitors so that means higher than 1080p resolution.

When it comes down to things. Can any1 help me find a hdmi 2.0 cable? Everywhere I look the version of the cable is hidden and no real details are given.

Hdmi 2.0 is capable of up to 60fps on a 4k display. And has can reach 600mhz clockrates.
Hdmi 1.4 the previous version of hdmi is half that clock rate with only 340mhz

For my setup I need an hdmi 2.0 cable. Otherwise my 3 144hz displays are wasted.
Here is the monitor by the way, thoughts on if it is good? http://bit.ly/18qGrsm

Hello... you should be fine with 1.4 cables... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI the 2.0 standard was just released... and i'm sure the price will be $$$... yes "buyer beware" when it comes to cables with no certification... I would suggest talking or going to your Local Profesional Video Installer in your area and Ask them where they get their cables... Some Professionals make their own cables, and you could have custom ones made... HDMI name alone will increase the price due to copyrights, Thats why display port was created.

1.4 is rated for a 1080P resolution though up to 120fps while 2.0 can support a 4k resolution at 60fps(I can only imagine that translates to even faster lower resolutions than 4k). I would be extending displays across 3 monitors at 120fps
That is a 5760x1080p resolution

This is why I came to believe I need a hdmi 2.0 cable.

Current high speed cables will handle the throughput enabled by HDMI 2.0, read the HDMI website and they state this in no uncertain terms. The problem you're going to have is that there are no computer graphics cards that have HDMI 2.0 ports yet.

Sorry for bringing up an old topic but I am also in search of an HDMI 2.0 cable. I just bought a new 34 inch LG Ultra wide Ultra HD monitor and wanted to make sure I'm getting the best display out of my Crossfired R9 270x's.

Were you saying that the HDMI ports that are 1.4 might not accept the 2.0 fittings or that the HDMI ports that are 1.4 won't carry the same data rates?
