I just bought a ASUS VS248H-P Black 24" monitor(1920 x 1080) and I have a Samsung 27'' tv(1360 x 768) which I currently use as my main monitor.
I am wondering if I could use the Asus monitor as my main monitor for application such as gaming and have my Samsung tv as my secondary "monitor" while gaming with the specs below.
My spec:
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 760 SC 2Gb ACX
CPU: i5-4670K 3.40GHz
RAM: 2 x 4GB 1600hz
OS: Windows 8.1
Games:
BF4
COD Ghost
AC4
LOL
L4D2

Should I use the HDMI port on the GPU for my main monitor and DVI-I from GPU to my secondary monitor or is there a better alternative way without interrupting with my frame rate/ performance while gaming like HDMI port on my mobo for my secondary?

Use the 760 for both. It should be fine.
