"office jet" 8100 printing issues with asus router rt-ac68r will not connect to rounter

The printer is not recognized by router . I have never had this issue with other routers. software see the router but wireless printer will not connect.

did you activate the mac address of the wireless card from the printer on that router in the permit list ?

yes i did but i am not sure if i did it right or not

it should be on the permit list and apply to save it on the router check router user manual to confirm how to do it .
