Hello community! my name is Lee. I was hoping that maybe someone would be able to direct me on how to reset or bypass a user acount logon password on a hard disk that was originally in a labtop that contained vista and is now homeless. I put the hard disk into another labtop which contains windows 7 and it will boot all the way up and all but I am not able to get on the administrator account because I have lost the password. With that being said, I am not able to go online as well because some of the services will not start under the second account which is a limited account. UAC IS A KILLER!!! I Tryed various programs to no avail for example the ol' trusted 'cain n abel' and programs as such, but there is an error stating that please reboot and find a proper loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:??:

I am very sorry for not reading up on what i can or cannot ask. the diskis mines and is an old one from wow, I'd say 2009 maybe? As far as the labtop wel,l actually the board fried in a nutshell but the hardrive is still kicking and I thought I would remember the password but I cannot. Well just thought you were entitled to know more of what was going on. Thankyou anyway!! guess i will just have to do a reinstall. LAWD!!
