I'm running an i7 930 with 8gb ram and a GTX 560 1gb video card (http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTX-M2D1GD5.html#/?d...). The specs seem to support dual WQHD displays (it includes two dual-link DVI connections) but I'm not sure if the load would be too much to bear. I don't play games but plan to do some video editing. Thanks!

video editing maybe too much for 1gb card.
dual-link DVI is the bandwidth of one DVI port. not dual monitor. so MSI not declare it supports dual monitor or 2560x1440.
on nVidia website, GTX 560 supports multiple monitor. Maximum Digital Resolution 2560x1600. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt...
not sure your MSI card supports the same spec. call MSI for help is the best way. also, check the manual of your GC. maybe you can find the answer.

Thanks for your response. I had to throw away the packaging and manuals (it may not have come with one actually) but I downloaded one for this model from the msi website. It's not really a full manual but it does say "dual dual-link DVI output supported." I remember when I purchased it that dual monitor display WAS supported. However, it seems like dual 2560x1440 output would probably strain the card's limits and run at less than optimal performance. I will create a support ticket on msi.com and ask them for advice, I guess.

Does anyone have experience running two WQHD displays with a similar spec'd card? Or with a GTX 570/580/590 2-3GB if I decide to upgrade?
