Im just wondering about laptop RAM PC3-10660 products, is there vengeance crosair for this ram model? What about kingston hyperx or any types? I heard that samsung has good review about memory things

Moreover what are the actually best RAM between those products? Seeking from the performance , especially from the booting time comparison? Is there any significant changes after upgrading it?

Thx

The amount of performance boost you'll get from upgrading RAM relies most on how much you have now vs. how much you'll be getting.

Assuming an equal amount of RAM between brands, there's not really much difference. In the case of Corsair, for example, they do not make their own DRAM chips. They buy them from someone else which means other companies selling RAM will have the exact same specs and performance as Corsair. Buying from a company that makes their own DRAM chips usually not only means the newest and best performing RAM, but also a lower price, as Corsair tends to be on the expensive side for nothing all that special - essentially you're just paying for the name, not for actual performance increases.

Companies like G.Skill, Team Group, Patriot, Crucial/Micron, and of course Samsung all make their own DRAM. There are a couple other less-recognized names as well. You'll get the best price/performance from them, not Corsair or Kingston.

Better to buy the same specs. RAM usually doesn't have a problem running at a slightly lower speed than what it was made for, but sometimes it does, and also sometimes it screws up the latency timers out of proportion. It's best to get the same specs (unless you plan on overclocking it) and usually works out a little cheaper too.
