Hi,
I'm very interested in surround gaming, and was wondering if a pair of GTX 780's in SLI would provide enough graphical horsepower to run most modern and next gen games at 60fps at high-to-max settings. I figure dual 780's would provide a little less than a 770 per screen. If this solution is viable, I would go with an ASUS Direct CUII 780 3gb. I feel this is the best 780 for only $20 more.
So, what do you think? Will I have enough power? Is there a better brand I should buy?
Thanks!

ASUS Direct CU2 is in my opinion nearly the best non-reference cooler on a GTX 780 for the following reasons:

-Runs extremely cool, even when overclocked and under load
-Runs extremely quiet, again when overclocked and under load
-Comes with an extremely good looking cooler, as well as a backplate, which in my opinion looks a lot better than the stock PCB
-Overclocks well and runs really stable
-Good price point compared to other non-reference coolers

Can I ask what your overall rig is? Are you running 1150 socket or 2011? And what kind of case do you have?

ASUS is one of the best brands to buy and who doesn't love that red and black colour scheme? ;)

I've got an MSI Z87 GD65 motherboard, a 4770k cooled by an H110, 8Gb of RAM, and an EVGA 760 Superclocked at the moment, all in a Corsair 540. Also I have an 850w PSU if you are wondering. Hope that helps!

If you run two ASUS Direct CU2 GTX 780's in sli, are you going to be using 3 24 inch monitors, which are all using 1920x1080p? because if so, two 780's should be fine to run games in surround. However, the other option is buying a gtx 780ti, as it would easily run 3 monitors by itself.

I'll be using 3 23" 1080p monitors. I'm sure a 780ti would power the monitors, but I'm fairly sure SLI 780s would provide ~40% higher performance.
