A10 5800k or fx 6300 for minecraft.

Solution
If you are satisfied with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjgQ_IXDyns, then yes, it can also save money and watts because the the APU (GPU integrated) is 100w (http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-A10-Series%20A10-5800K.html) and the FX 6300 is 95w (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd6300wmhkbox) but with nvidia GeForce 8800gt it obviously go more.

FX 6300 is more powerful than a10-5800k but if you are satisfied and/or don't need the extra performance, I would say to go with the a10-5800k.

get the 5800k or the slightly more money 6800k

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/675?vs=699

look at the games and the difference is rather small. also the single thread benches show they are basically equal and games hardly ever use 6 cores or more and the apu has a decent gpu (better than your 8800) and the 8800 would be a huge bottleneck for a 6300 anyway. get the 5800k and you can always later get a dedicated gpu.
