So I'm building a computer and I would like to get the AMD FX-9370. However, all of the mobos that I have looked at on Amazon, Newegg and TigerDirect say that they support 140W CPUs. I have read elsewhere that the mobo will support it just not at high stress. What could happen if the processor isn't properly cooled and/or the mobo can't handle it?

What are some motherboards that support 220W?

What is your requirement? This board his pretty good for multiple graphics card. No problem with overclocking, if you wish to.

The Sabertooth does not show support for the FX9370 - CPU's supported here https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX/#sup...

The 220W specification is a max TDP which you wouldn't come close to seeing in real world applications without overclocks but a quick check of some boards I thought would work didn't show support for the FX9370 (yet anyway)
