Hey everyone, I have been reading about CPU cooling setup for a while now and can't decide. Well I have kind of decided, but want to know if anyone knows for sure the cooler will fit the Motherboard with the ram I have *(linked below... has rather tall heat sinks)* and clear the first pcie slot. The case I have is big enough its a large full tower.
If that cooler wont fit I am partially open to the closed loop water cooling setups if need be, but for piece of mind I'd much prefer air... also are the really that loud? I keep hearing it compared to a "jet engine". I have 2 Overclocked 770's and they are rather loud under load so would I hear the Hydro system over them anyway? I would like to avoid the Noctua, only because I don't like the look, I'm going for all red and black components and lighting this time around. So if anyone has opinions or advice let me know. Only requirements are it has to be from Newegg, and max budget for cooling is $150. That budget should be high enough for any cooler outside of custom water cooling. Thanks.
oh P.S, I will be shooting for 4.4 - 4.6Ghz OC so please keep that in mind.
