    ARC 647 Gaming Case
    AMD 8-core FX-8100 CPU
    Certified CPU Fan and Heatsink
    8GB [4GBx2] DDR3-1866 ADATA XPG V2
    Radeon HD 7750 1 GB
    ASUS M5A97 R2.0 -- AMD 970
    500 Watt - Standard
    2TB SATA 6.0Gb/s Single Drive
    Windows 7 64 Bit

This is what i made on iBuyPower for $640. My only question is how many usb ports will I have and will they be 2.0 or 3.0 and then what are your overall thoughts on the pc? Thanks in advance
Edit: The reason why someone the specs seem a little overkill is because the Black Friday deals provide me with a free upgrade with my ram, cpu and storage/hardrive

dont go with that cpu, get a FX-6300, and dont need to 1866 RAM, 1600 is fine. if i remember correctly you will have both 2.0 and 3.0. but more 2.0 than 3.0. the rig is kind of weak in the graphics department

Do not take 8100! Take either 8300 series or 6300 series CPU. The new generation of AMDs are worth more then the cents you pay to get them over the old ones. A 8100 is even beaten by the good ol' 2500 in almost everything. But the 8300 is something descent. If you can't take 8300, then take 6300. It is way better than an 8100.

On a second read - better to scale down that RAM to 1333 and/or that HDD to 1TB and put those money to a good power supply. Never ever skimp on a power supply. You will always regret it.Faulty PSU can drag your whose system with it.

Cheers

For and extra $26 I can upgrade to 750W Enermax LEPA G750-MAS, would that be worth it?

As others have said the 8100 is first gen cpu meaning slower you wants either 6350 or 8320 or higher the gpu card is on the weak end of the spectrum... The power supply is going to be a no name as well as with the 970 board all fx cpus run better with a 990FX boards Now ask us how you can build that system for around the same amount of mone yif not a tad more and 3 times the system where we can really help you!

The Enermax LEPA G750-MAS has a Gold certification, which is always worth something. It is definately worth to give 26$ more for that.
