I bought an Asus n550jv last week. it's my first laptop so i"m not really expert in what should the temperature be!

Btw i'm not using cooling pad with this tests

the laptop is using:
Intel Core i7 4700HQ 2.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 4096 MB

on normal usage like watching movies in balance setting the temperature of cpu and motherboard is about 47C to 55-57c

When it's running games the temperature goes up to 75 to 85 and sometimes I saw it goes above 90c

so I downloaded msi kombostor for graphical temperature test and prime95 for cpu test

The result was that gpu was around 80c in 100% usage
cpu and motherboard got to 93-94c in 100% usage

My question is that is this normal for this kind of motherboard and cpu to get this hot with this cooling system or is it laptops and something wrong with my cpu fan?

In the long run. i will say it is not healthy for the CPU to reach those temps. Intels homepage say 100.c is the max. So i would suggest buying a laptop cooler with a fan (If your cooling pad do not have one already).
