Hi guys, is an Msi z77 mpower compatible with an inter core i53570k. It says it is pentium and celeron compatible with 1155 slots. Now this CPU is an 1155 but is an ivy bridge. Compatible?

Solution
Supports 3rd Gen Intel® Core™ i7 / Core™ i5 / Core™ i3 / Pentium® / Celeron® processors for LGA 1155 socket

So yeah, it will support i5 3570k

Yes, your motherboard is an LGA 1155 socket and your CPU is an LGA 1155 socket, they will work together. Your CPU is an Ivy Bridge quad core, and your motherboard is a Panther Point chipset designed to work with both Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPU's. In fact I believe that the Z77 chipset was released at around the same time as the Ivy Bridge CPU's and was designed to work with them (as well as being able to work with the older Sandy Bridge CPU's). The previous chipset was a series called Cougar Point which were designed to work with the previous-to-Ivy Bridge Sandy Bridge CPU's, and later could be updated through BIOS to work with the new Ivy Bridge. Anyway, yes they will work together.
