The gigabyte one is better but neither of them can be compared to the awesome SAPPHIRE TOXIC.
The sapphire toxic is factory overclocked and has better cooling: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Toxic-1100MHz-Express-...

The best R9 280X is Sapphire TOXIC but it's kinday pricey.. What about Asus or XFX?
Sapphire cards are very realiable, but you'd want one that comes with BF4..
I've heard the Gigabyte Windforce cooler is a pretty good cooler so you could go with that one

As I said before: The gigabyte has a better windforce cooler so it would be the better option. But XFX coolers are very bad and as the 280x has a big overheating problem, I wouldn't go with XFX.

the sapphire toxic isn't here, but how much different are we talking about ? + i know the Gigabyte have great cooler but there were some compliance about flicker in the screen....

Only chose is those two Gigabyte R9 280x or SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X.

Just because XFX had problems with the 7970 doesn't mean it will have problems with the 280X, I've read great reviews about XFX R9's and I even have a 7950 DD and it is a pretty solid cooler..

I'd go with Vapor X IF it came with BF4..

If you cant get a hold of an awesome TOXIC then I would advise you go with a Gigabyte Windforce model of the 280x.

Both are very similar in performance but I would go with gigabyte due to its windforce cooling.

look here

http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/review-asus-radeon-r9-28...

and here
http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/review-gigabyte-radeon-r...

is that true?

I wouldn't trust that site, it uses proper card specifications, not real-life results. The Asus and Gigabyte cards are basically the same, only difference is that the Asus is slightly better overclocked and the Gigabyte has slightly better cooling. There are pros and cons to both cards. Either one would be good.
