Hey, just recently upgraded my gtx 660 to msi n770 TF OC edition. So far I am impressed. I ran a benchmark of batman origins and got an avg of 61 fps. The current CPU I got with it is an i5-330p, I am thinking of upgrading to an overclock able version of the I5, possibly a 4th generation one. Now for the question, is the new batman game a good indicator that the CPU is not causing a bottle neck? I am getting 100% GPU usage according to afterburner. Second, if there is no bottleneck, is upgrading the CPU a good idea, or upgrading the memory to 16 GB. Please note, due to a disability which prevents me from working, after all bills are paid, I got maybe $300 that can go to this, and I want a ton of bang for my buck. Hope that makes sense. I do have 8 gb of ram right now, I understand I may have to upgrade the mobo, but that isn't an issue. Finally, I try to avoid AMD CPU's like the plague, due to an old k62, that burnt out on me in 2 months, but I am willing to consider an AMD CPU, if it will make a suitable upgrade.

Thanks for your help

you can always try running multiplayer BF4 if you have it or Crysis to give a good idea on how your cpu will perform with your new video card with a 100% gpu usuage that is fine and saying your video card is doing its job and is not relying on the cpu. i have never played batman origins but average 61 fps is very good. I would leave your cpu untill you find a game that is really cpu intensive and starts giving you big frame drops thats why i mentioned bf4 multiplayer as its really cpu intense game online
