Let me start by saying I have a Nvidia GT610 (came with the PC) and it is absolutely terrible for games. It can run Minecraft fine but I cant play games such as Skyrim and Battlefield 3 which I would like to play.

I will be updating my graphics card soon, but because my case is really small, I'll need to buy a mid tower case to fit in either a GTX660/TI or a 670.

However, for the time being I was wondering if I should buy another GT610 considering how cheap they are. Would this make my gaming experience any better until I purchase the new card? Or would it be pretty pointless?

It would be pretty pointless, I dont think cards that low end even support SLI.

You would not benefit from another gt610, its the lowest end card nvidia got and you cannot run them in sli, why not just get the low profile asus gtx 670 its tiny

GT610s are not able to SLI, so they can not work together in games. Besides they are still far from good even added together.

Now, before buying a new card and chassis, makes sure your PSU is capable of running it, also confirm that the motherboard is conforms to mATX or ATX standard.
