I've shortlisted 6 semi/full modular power supplies for my new gaming build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2aPuS

Build Core
- CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
- Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ATX AM3+/AM3
- Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB Video Card

PSU Shortlist
Which one should I go for and why?

Edit: I'm in Australia with limited choice. These seemed to be the best price/performance units available here. Can buy from Amazon but needs to be an incredible deal to compete once I add international shipping.

- Antec HCG-620M 620W Bronze $111.33
- Corsair TX650M Bronze $123.00
- NZXT HALE82 650W Bronze $124.74
- Zalman ZM650-XG Gold $125.00
- Seasonic M12 II 620W Bronze $125.00
- Cooler Master VS 750W Gold $130.95

All rate well according to tomshardware.com/power-supply-unit-tier-list

All around the same price ($AUD)

The seasonic is the only tier 1 psu (the rest are tier 2A), but it's only 620W Bronze. The Cooler Master on the other hand is 750W Gold. The Zalman is also gold rated while the rest are all bronze.

Would love some advice on which one I should go for and why.

Thanks!

This is 1000w but price is right so. Better buy bigger than smaller now.

Good price, but unfortunately NewEgg don't ship to Australia. The Amazon price of $169.99 plus shipping to AU makes this a lot more expensive than others on my list :(

Is 1000w overkill if I'm working to a budget? I thought my build required around 550w, which is why I thought 600-750 would be the sweet spot to allow for some OC'ing.

Plus the Rosewill Lightning series is not on that psu tier list. How does it rate as a psu. Haven't read any reviews about it.

Yes good 600-850w is just fine. 1000w is overkill but if it is right price it is good buy.

Either the Seasonic or the Corsair. I would go Seasonic; they're the best.

No. Super Flower Golden Green is best. Rosewill is same PSU just under Rosewill name.
Seasonic is good but not "best" anymore. Corsair? Not even close to mach rorewill or super flower reliability.
But Only Rosewill cappstone / lightning are good + tachyon.
Super flower golden green + golden king are good.

Just think that here is good to tell truth. Not some "#¤%&/( lol
