Hello,

I'm looking to build a new PC. This is my first time building so i wanted to post my build here and see what you guys think. If anybody can give me suggestions it'll be greatly appreciated, also would like to now if i can possibly shave off a few dollars without skimping on performance.

Also, should i buy a wireless adapter? case fan? I'm not really sure if those are necessary so looking forward to your answers! I'm trying to keep the total amount under 1300$.

Here is my build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/2aFOL

Thank you in advance for your answers.

BF4 is an unoptimized game, but in theory and considering benchmarks including r9 280x you won't have problems running the game on high settings 1080p with 60FPS. If mantel proves to be a success, then you'll even be able to play it on ultra with 60FPS.

PS : I won't recommend anything different in particular, it looks fine to me.

Is your router single or dual band? Here's PCIe wireless adapters

Dual-band http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-wireless-network-card-pcen53
Single-band http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-wireless-network-card-pcen15

Or you can go with wireless USB adapter http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-wireless-network-card-rnxn180ube

PCIe is more reliable, but it's up to you to choose.

PS: I selected these by their ratings, I haven't had experience with them. But I've used some cheap wireless USB adapters and haven't got any issues (low ping, optic fiber speed). So you should be ok with these.

I believe my router is single band. I think i won't take the risk with a USB adapter since i live in Canada and have potato internet, pretty much. Thanks for the advice though.

Apart from that. would you recommend anything different for my build? I want to run new games (BF4 for example) at at least 60 fps, i know i wont be able to run them at Ultra settings but is this enough for stable 60 fps at High video settings?
