Hi. I'm more of a software guy, so I don't know too much about hardware... I've decided to build my own PC using the parts described in this video:

The problem is, the creator of the video includes a $200 graphics/video card which is simply too much in my opinion (the entire build is $600).

So, my question is, would it be possible to switch out this graphics/video card for a cheaper one? If so, which one?

This is a gaming PC and I honestly won't be doing much gaming. It seems to me that the graphics/video card plays a major role in gaming. I spend most of my time in Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver, etc.

Thanks for all your help! I look forward to seeing this community's answers.

Yes you can replace the card for a cheaper one if you so desire and it will still be a pretty good computer.

Here's a suggestion:
This card is almost as good as the one the guy showed in the video, so you're not missing too much of a performance.

Hope this helps^^

This is what I recommend for you as that build is not for CPU intensive tasks.
The CPU is most important for photoshop etc..
$444.45 Without OS
$599.91 With OS
The video card is added to aid in video decoding and general rendering (CUDA, DivX etc..)
