upgrade from i3 to i7

i have a sony vaio sve15125cn laptop with an i3 processor.
can i put in an i7 processor without changing any other hardware?
if not,what all do i have to change?

If you have integrated GPU, depending on the i7, you might need a GPU. Also if i7 is more powerful it will get more hot and need more fans or something to get it cold, also if you change generation you will need new MOBO for socket. if you are happy with the i3 you dont need to change, as you are in a laptop.
