strange lag problem. help!

So for some reason i have really big lag and fps drop. when play tf2 normally 299fps at the menu now 50. at game 120 now 25. why is this happening? My friend said that its driver bug or something like that. and this is in any game not tf2 only. yesterday i got my computer working again by restarting (manytimes) and installing new drivers. and i was happy :). and today i got same problem again.

SO i don't think its about drivers or can it be?.. can it be bios settings? i mean i have sett everything set to auto.

RAM : 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz
win 7 64 bit

Nope. It's that PSU of yours which is the culprit. Get a branded 600W PSU like Corsair and Antec with at least 80 PLUS BRONZE certificate and all your problems will vanish. That card you got is very power hungry and that weak PSU of yours just can't deliver..
