I haven't purchased any RAM yet but my specs are:
Cpu: Intel i7 4770k
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4
Gpu: XFX Radeon HD 7970DoubleD
Ssd: crucial m500 240GB
Hard drive: Seagate barracuda 3TB
Case: coolmaster haf 922
RAM: will likely be G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 or the 16GB version
I do not plan on overclocking right away but would like to have enough wattage to do so in the future. And I may buy an aftermarket cpu cooler.
