New Components Power Question

Solution

You need new PSU with min. 450W + one 6pin pcie power connector, also 21A on the +12 rail.

Get this for $26 after MIR. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Hi
You need new PSU !

- 2X75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector is required.
- 500 Watt Power Supply is required

Of the other q-ns :
And also what happens if I get to much power?
- you load you PSU with less power f.e. 50-60 % instead of 90-100 %

say 800W when I only need 650?
- if you need 650 W you system may not run with 650W
- if it`s start then you PSU is 100% loaded
- if you have 800W it will be 82 % if you load it at 650W

Hey thanks to the both of you!! so why not just get the 600W instead of 500W if I am going to be upgrading my sytem later? Isn't it better not use 100% of the power? and what does Bronze mean in this case? Thanks
