new psu needed.........which to buy?!?!?!?!?!

So my wife is picking my dads brain on what to get me. I need a new psu so thats what he is telling her to get me but we need a brand. Im thinking probably 750w to 850w preferably 850w and from a good company. Right now I have a 2500k and msi mobo with gtx560ti vid card but I will be buying a new vid card soon and after that new mother board and processor. I want something with extra head room if I decide to go sli and want it reliable and obviously a good price.

If you want to buy the PSU, it will depend on which GPU you will get. But this one will be one size fits all ( single card).
Antec High Current Gamer 750W for $60 after MIR. http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=86285&vpn=HCG%2D750M&manufacture=Antec&promoid=1029

Also this one will fit most GPU too, XFX P1-650X-XXB9 650W for $45 after MIR. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207022&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Both are made by seasonic. But you want to SLI then you need to post which GPU want to buy, before we will find one for you.

Im looking for 850w or more roughly. Im a nvidia and Intel fan so most likely a gtx780 or 780ti and maybe sli when the prices drop more. Im mixed on corsair psu and xfx seem to be great for gamers and do I need just one 8pin and a 6pin for a vid card? Would I need two 8 pins? Im trying to somewhat future proof but its been awhile since I purchased a psu so im clueless.

If you but the 780ti and sli, then you need more power and amp on the +12V rail, you need one like this EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 80 PLUS for $130. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438010&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

If you buy the 780 then get the one rolli59 recommended.

It is a fine PSU! and will handle your rig overclocked. The link I posted has an OC LGA2011 system..
