my computer isnt working and i dont know what to do can someone help ?

my computer has 2 lights a white and a orange the white one stays on and the orange dosen't all i know is when the orange light works the computer works and the second sitiuation is i get both lights to stay on but the computer relentlessly beeps. anyone know whats wrong with it ?

i dont really have them all i know is the proccessor i think its amd athlon x2 dual core processor I'm a noob when it comes to this im 14 and dont know what to do dad is gone shoppin all day so i decided to ask on this

and there isnt a model of comp its ancient with new pieces added yearly its my older brothers last computer he gave to me cuz he just got a new one when he went to college
