Hi there Tom's Hardware Community! My name is Griffin, I am thirteen years old and at school I have decided to do a science fair project relating to technology. I came up with this idea, using my PC (Which is overclocking ready) I will use benchmark tests and overclocking utilities to test how clock rates of my cpu and gpu effect performance. I will under clock both items, leave them at default clock, and overclock them and run benchmarks with each. Anyway, I was wondering, how do you reccomend I do this? I have an i7-4770k with a H100i and a GTX Titan with sufficient air cooling. What benchmarks should I use? How long? What overclocking utilities? Any help would be appreciated! If you neeed any more info please ASK!

I personally think all the different methods of cooling would make a better science experiment. From air, clc's, custom water, TEC's, refrigaration, ice, and maybe even some dry ice. Combined with tempertures and overclock potential and how the overclocking affected performance for each different method.

Judging from your componets it would appear that you have the funding for such a project. I'm also confident it is not above a 13 year olds skill level, take a look at manofchalk he is about your age and one of the top members here with lots of watercooling experience. To get an idea just how interesting cooling is take a look at the below ambient sticky as well as the one on TEC's. Very fun and interesting stuff.

Good luck with your...
