Connecting an Xbox 360 Slim to a DVI monitor

I have an Xbox 360 Slim, and I would like to connect it to my AOC E2243FWK Monitor. The back of the Monitor has a DVI Female port as well as D-SUB port. What parts do I need to connect it and can I find those parts on Amazon?

I also have two Compaq speakers which I use with my PC which use a USB and a Green Male jack that are both plugged into the PC to get sound. Could I use them as well to play the sound from the Xbox?

For the monitor you need a HDMI to DVI adapter (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=HDMI%20to%20DVI&tag=wwwmyglambook-20)

However that won't give you any sound. For that you need to use your Red/White cables from the XBox and connect them via RCA adapter to your speaker. (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=rca%20adapter&sprefix=rca+adapter%2Caps&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Arca%20adapter&tag=wwwmyglambook-20)

try opening the menu of the monitor when it's on and there should be an option to choose DVI input.

it should automatically change to dvi

Yes, both HDMI and Component can be plugged in at the same time.
