Fan controller help?

Im using the integrated fan controller on the Phantom 820, it says it can handle up to 12 fans. How do I hook up fans? I want to add 3x 120mm, 4x 140mm and 2x 200mm fans. Im also not using any fans that come with the case. Would I need to plug the fans into the PSU using molex, or does it get power from the fan controller?

You plug the fan controller into the PSU via molex and then the fans connect to the fan controller and nowhere else.

from the product spec
4-channel 15-watt Fan Digital Controller
to run 12 fans with that fan controller you have to use a one to 3 fan y cable. with the low wattage of the controller i be scared that i burn the fan controller out with to many fans on one port. the fan controller going to use a molex plug to get power from the power supply.

No, I do not, but that is how fan controllers work. all of them. I have the NZXT Vulcan which uses a similar fan controller.

Also, don't forget that 12 fans will not cool the computer ANY better than 3-4 fans will.
