Is this build going to be compatible? And will it support most games on high settings?

--Intel Core i5-3570k-3.4GHz
--ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
--Nvidia GeForce GTX 670
--Need help with RAM (I am building my first PC)
--WD 1TB Internal Hard Drive ATA-600
--Would also love recommendations for the PSU and anything else that would be helpful to my build.

As you can see, I am very new to building computers, it seems pretty daunting... Any feedback is great!

Also! I am trying to keep it under 1000 dollars. But, I am willing to go higher if it is really worth it.

Solution
Hey! It's a decent build, but its not the best.
RAM needs a min of 8GB. I would suggest Corsair Vengeance for this
HDD is fine
GPU needs 2 GB i recommend.
Motherboard is fine
CPU i would recommend around i5-4570, but something Intel with 4 cores is good (check for overclocking first though!)

I have one for $800ish dollars (I'm from Britain, so it's about £600):

CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (£146.52 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: Xigmatek EP-CD903 61.2 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£18.60 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£66.88 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory (£53.49 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Western Digital RE3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM...

My build will last you 4 years and can theoretically play pretty much all games on high! I don't have it yet, but it's been checked and it's a cheap and fantastic build :) I can link you to a page where you can compatible change the parts? :)

Please feel free to ask for any help you need!
