I built this system a little over three years ago. I picked all components, assembled, installed, troubleshot everything and it has worked fine with only minor issues until the beginning of August this year. This started when powering up. After 35 secs, it would shut off. I suspected the power supply to be the cause an ordered another. A new one was installed along with ssd. It operated for about 5 hours then lost video. Then it would start to power up, then turn off after 3 to 4 secs. Then start to power up again, repeating this cycle. I have removed all extraneous hardware. No memory, fans, drives, extra. With only power supply and mother board everything appears as would be expected. I have an FF MB code. When power is applied to the CPU the on/off cycle starts again. The CPU has been removed and the CPU contact pins are in great shape. The heat sink thermal compound has been replaced several times. This occurs either in the case or removed. I have gone through 3 PS, 3 MB, and 2 CPU's with no change. The cabling was changed with each power supply change. The water pump and accessories are being run by a second supply and not the primary supply. UNCLE, I need help, this is outrageous to me. What am I missing here? I am sure I have missed something's here in the post I have done. Time for others opinions now.
