Basically I came home a few days ago from school and my parents could not seem to get their computer to work. After multiple attempts to fix it - I eventually had to do a System Recovery to Factory settings. The computer then worked for 2 days afterwards, until it had a series of Windows updates (169 I believe was the number). I went to sleep while the computer was updating, and when I woke up, it refused to start Windows. The System Repair feature takes a very long time, as in it ran for 12+ hours just to sit at a blue screen and continue to do nothing. I've tried going through to the last good configuration, and that also does not work. I tried restore, recover, nothing on the system is working - I can not start a command prompt as the computer will not launch windows at all! I'm lost and would really like some help as I'll try anything.
