Already have 2x4GB ram, can I add another 2x4GB?

Hello,

I already have a 2x4GB kit of G.Skill memory found here:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445

Would I be able to buy this same exact kit again so that I would have 16GB of memory?
I have an Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 mb with an AMD FX-8350 cpu.

Yes, you can add up to 32GB on that board (4x8gb). Whether you see any performance difference will depend on what programs you are running and if they are using up most or all of what you already have.

Yes you can but the question is would you really need to. If it is a gaming rig 8gig is all you would really need. But if it is what you want you could add it with no problems.

Okay thank you all. Another question though, after looking at this article http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/ddr3memoryfrequencyguide.aspx would it only run at a 1333 frequency?

It will run at the speed of your slowest module. If you are running 1333 now and add a 1600 kit, the computer will set all of it to 1333. Then, if you wanted, you could try to overclock it to 1600 or above, depending on what the modules are capable of.
