Hi

I have a pc with the motherboard asus p6t se x58 and a i7920 cpu.
I have 3x2gb of ram at 1333mhz.
Im thinking in doing a oc to my cpu i will also change the gpu to a 7970.
My point is should i change my ram for 2x4gb at 1600mhz? or can i just add another module of 2gb at 1333mhz.

Thanks in advance

No 6GB should be fine and since it is a triple channel motherboard 3 sticks are best for performance. You won't really get anything from 1600 over 1333 -- spend the extra on the best GPU that you can afford if gaming is your primary goal and work on the OC.

Thanks for the answer, i probably wont add more ram. But just in case I add 3 modules more of 2gb, i looked in my retailer stores here in my country and i can find modules of 2gb at 1333mhz but they say pc10600 and mines are pc10666 i dont know if that can be a problem.

Honestly i dont know what is the frequency of my current ram. My bill says is 1333-999mhz but i think the stock frequency is 1066mhz, because the latency is 7-7-7 and i cant find any module of 1333mhz with that latency.
I post an image of my cpu-z, i cant understand if it says the frequency.
Sorry for ask so many questions :)
