So I am looking into replacing the GPU's in my current system with something that has more power. Currently I am Running a Intel Q9550 on a Gigabyte EP-45t-USB3p motherboard with 8 gigs of Ram and 2 visiontek 5770's in crossfire (link to exact picture below). I am looking at either an ASUS 650ti or the 7870 only thing that is tearing me apart is that my board only supports crossfire and not SLI so I am asking the community for your opinion on which of the 2 cards has A) the most bang for the buck in single operation & B) if I upgrade to a new machine in the future which will prove best for scalability

Solution
As for bang for buck it's difficult. The 7870 is faster but you can get the 650ti a little cheaper. Crossfired 7870/270x is some serious power though:)

Well I decided on the 7870 after reading the comparison on the home page HERE and seeing that the 270 and 270x are about on par with each other and the 7870, plus newegg has it for $189 and a $50 mail in rebate
