So I bought a Gigabyte Gtx 560ti for my 2nd pc, that already has a Asus Gtx 560ti. I saw it on a local add for $85, and I got it for $75 off the dude. He showed me the receipts and everything and seemed like a cool guy.

I came home and put the GPU in and I put the sli bridge. It didn't work.

So I went into the BIOS and messed with a few settings and still didn't work. So I thought I needed a better power supply. Next I took my old Asus 560ti out and put the Gigabyte 560ti in alone. And my computer still wouldn't recognize it. I searched and searched for ways to fix it and none worked. So at the end I put a fresh install of windows onto one of the drives, to see if it will recognize it then. Still nothing though :(

Fan on GPU works, its spinning, but that's it. Did I just get scammed of a defect item? I know its my fault if I did :(

If anyone could help me out that'd be great to. Thanks!

I have Intel 3570k CPU, and the motherboard is Asus P8Z77-V, and 8GB of DDR3 RAM

In this case, I suspect you got scammed.

Ahhh mann :( ...Well at least the dude had the heart to give me the receipt and the 2 years warranty on it lol. I'm going to see if I can send it in. Thanks

By the way if anyone can help me with this...I noticed when I put my Asus GTX560ti in I saw 2 led flashing orange, and when I plugged in the 6pin connectors it turned green, and it works.

I'm wonder if the Gigabyte GTX560ti has similar lights? Because I didn't see anything. If it does have the leds then I can confirm 100% the card is broken.
