For some reason my network name has disappeared from my list. When I call the IP, their reps cannot answer and tell me to logon to 192.168.1.1 and set up a new secured network. I can access through Gateway, but it is not secure. They tell me to logon with admin as user and password as the password. It does not work and after three tries it kicks me off. I do not like the fact that my secure network has suddenly vanished and they seem to not care. I just want to get into the router software and set up a secure network myself.

read the manual on how to reset router to new state. I haven't seen one router that you cant do it to yet.

once you get into it I would change default ip address to something else then defaults as your router has most likely been hacked.
