I just bought bf4, and my current build isn't running it too smoothly. Here is my current build:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 3.3ghz
GPU: Radeon hd 6870
MOBO: ASRock 970 Extreme3
RAM: CORSAIR Vengence
PSU: 620W Seasonic Bronze series

I would only like to upgrade the gpu, cpu, and ram if i could for now since my budget is pretty cheap. Do you think if I buy this bundle, http://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCart.aspx?submit=ChangeItem my computer would run smoothly with battlefield 4? Are there any other options I can take? I'm open to any ideas.

Thanks for you time and patience

after a look at those prices,it looks like a pretty good deal to me,the prices here in australia are more expensive, just be sure everthing is compatible with your system,im sure you will get further advice on this forum,
i would be happy with that price.

do you only have performance issues when playing multiplayer?? i have a core I5 2500k cpu with a GTX560 gpu, asrock pro p67 motherboard, i recently purchased BF4 coz i really liked BF3,
i have had really bad lag and choppy performance issues only when playin on multiplayer servers(unplayable),when i run it on the singleplayer mode or test range,
the graphics and performance is fine, good FPS and smooth to play,i suspect it is a server/game problem,i will basically not play the servers untill this is addressed by the developers coz it is not enjoyable to play,
this is just my recent experience with BF4,
have a look at some forums to see what people are saying before you spend money on hardware for this game.

Here is are the listed components that were on the broken link:

Cooler Master Hyper T4 $30

PowerColor AXR9 280X 3GBD5-DHE Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384-bit
AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB

For all three, in a bundle, it costs $450. Is it worth it?

And too answer Mrclownface, I completely agree that bf4 is broken, and to clarify further on my post im not upgrading exclusively for the game, but because we are moving into next gen gaming. And i thought it would be a good idea to upgrade while it is black friday and I might be able to get a deal. Plus, besides, i'm kind of a cheap ass.

I'm fairly new to the PC world, so thanks for the patience.

Yeah the price is good plus the r9 280x is a beast.... and like you said i didn't know if it would be compatible/too much for my current system. for ex. is the 620w psu good enough? Or is the aftermarket cpu fan nessecary?

thanks, psychoscrilz
