Can I overclock Sapphire R9 270x Dual-X with stock fans?

I am building a new PC this week and I got the Sapphire R9 270x Dual-X OC edition. I know it is already OC out of the box it says you can further OC it anyway.

But I do not have an aftermarket GPU cooler. I do have some cooler/fans that comes with my new PC case.

Now the question is:
Is it safe?

For more information here are my components:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: See above
Mobo: Asrock 970 Extreme4
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Case: Thermaltake Mid-III

I'm not sure if those coolers/fans from case will help at all. But is it safe to OC it regardless?

That will not hit 60fps. I think you could hit 1100 to 1200 on that GPU, AMD has slack clocks.
Find some proper oc guides and feel free to stretch the card, it has long legs. I would not go over 75c on the CPU or GPU, but up to 90c is *ok* for a GPU.
I hate to cross reference forums, but anandtech gave me a proper oc guide and helped me minimize damage to my card once I realized I did it wrong.

Should be, but all ocs have a bit of risk. The case fans and shouldn't change much, but a really bad case can casue the GPU to overheat. Never use furmark/occt or really use the max OC. I killed my hd 7770 by setting a max stable oc (1200) and using furmark.
Use common sense and you'll do fine.

Also I want to ask what is the "optimum" temperature for gaming PCs? I read that aslong it is not reaching 80C (Celsius) or over (under load) and it will be fine. Does that count for my scenario? I am not sure how much temperature do my CPU, Motherboard and GPU can handle.

Thanks for the advice. The reason why I ask this is because I wanted to play BF4 at 60FPS at High settings (not ultra/max). There are benchmarks out there that shows this GPU do indeed play BF4 at 60PS 1080p but it more like around 55FPS constant, I just hope if a miniscule OC of GPU and maybe the CPU will help increase 1-2 FPS then I am happy. I wanted to boost it from 1020mhz to 1030mhz. Not much as you can see.
