Hi,
I was wondering how do I update and bios and where can I get the download link.
Here are my specs:
HP-Pavilion
System type: x64-based PC
System model:RX883AAR-ABA m8020n
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM)2 CPU 6420@2.13GHz
Bios Version/Date: Phoenix Technologies, LTD5.17, 4/20/2007

Can you please provide the model of the motherboard? I had a similar experience with my bios since HP doesn't make it easy to find their bios software...

EDIT: Is the motherboard model ASUSTek Computer INC. LEONITE? If so then this should be it http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=c00864946#N74 and the bios software should be http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&softwareitem=pv-60348-1

Make sure that this is your motherboard before you update it!!

EDIT: Is there a version compatible with windows 7?

I can't seem to connect to the server when auto-detecting. Anyway, thanks a bunch.
