Best Brand Of Memory? How Much, How Fast, And How Many Sticks?

Here's two memory options I've had my eye on:

My problem is I don't know what specs to value over others. The GSkill has better speed and latency, while the Corsair is slightly cheaper and it's only 1 stick. Anyone have any opinions on which to purchase, or any other options that would be better? Is 8GB enough?

Here's my build, and my mobo only supports up to 2000, just FYI (though I'd be fine with getting 2133 if cost efficient): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/28QcH

EDIT: Also, could someone help me make sense of timings? How low should they be?

8 gigs will be enough if your just gaming but i would get 2x4 gigs because you have dual channel memory on your mobo. Gskill is good cheap memory if your on the budget. But usually the faster the memory the worse the timings will be so you can spend a lot of money on higher mhz ram and it wont make a difference because the latency's are higher. Either way you wont see any performance difference id probably go for the gskill in this case.

Both are 8GB sets the Snipers are 1866/ which is both higher freq 1866 vs the 1600 of the Corsair and has a lower CL 9 vs the the Corsairs 10, so you win on all three counts, price, high freq, tight CL - think the Snipers pick this one off with a clean kill ;)

I am on a budget, so the $8 difference is a concern. My ultimate goal is to get the most cost efficient build possible, so I'm just trying to find the best deal for memory. I'm not entirely certain, but I think that the speed and latency difference probably make the GSkill the right choice.

If that's not correct someone let me know if there is a better option, but I'll likely get the GSkill sometime tonight.
