I just thought about this and I want to gain some knowledge.

The PS4 for instance, has a 2.75 ghz 8 core AMD APU
IT had a GPU of 800 mhz.
and 8gb GDDR5 ram at 5500mhz ram (o.o)
x86 architecture
500 gb hdd

what does that mean? what would that GPU and APU be similar is terms of performance, to PC hardware.

Would by PC be more powerful than the PS4?
my specs:
amd-a10 5700 3.4-4.0 ghz(turbo)
10 gb 1600mhz ddr3
MSI Radeon 7850 2 gb GDDR5 OC core clock - 900 mhz
1tb SATA

Actually, your PC is what I was going to use to describe a console in terms of PC hardware. Expect gaming performance about the same as a PS4/Xbone.
Though this is in terms of raw hardware, optimization for the consoles may play a role later on. On the other hand, Mantle.
