I'm buying a lot of new parts for my computer this year and one of them is a samsung 840 evo. I already have a 2tb seagate baracuda. I plan on taking a lot of it apart and reformatting the old hdd and doing a fresh install of windows and hopefull linux. So how do I go about doing this, I know how to format the hdd but is there something special I need to do? Also do I need to enable trim, I heard the evo has some sort of new tech that makes it super good, does that conflict with the TRIM? Lots of questions hopefull you can answer them or point me to a good guide because I've failed at finding one good for me. Ps I have a asrock extreme 4 the one for ivy bridge i forgot the socket
