So my graphics card went out and I ordered a new one(ASUS GTX 770) and replaced it. After starting it up for the first time it prompted me to update my BIOS using EZ flash 2 and then shutdown after a few seconds. I downloaded newest version of BIOS off of support site for my mobo (ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z). I then restarted my computer and was prompted with a error message that said "The data in the EC or EC flash might be corrupted. Please contact Asus Technical Support for help"
I googled for a solution to this and read i needed to reset my CMOS, so I pressed the reset button on the back of my computer and after a few seconds I rebooted my computer. Then on reboot I was again prompted to update my BIOS, selected the newest version to update from my flash drive and installed. As soon as it finished the computer shutoff on its own. I restarted and the computer started normally, only a little laggy which isnt normal. After about 1-2 minutes the computer shutdown again, with no BSOD, just powered off. Every time the computer would shut off I could only turn it back on if I toggled the PSU switch to off then back on, then hit the power button. I attempted to go through these steps multiple times with the same results with the computer randomly showing either to update BIOS or the EC flash error.

I even unplugged power and pulled out my motherboard battery to reset BIOS but the problem still persists.

try another video card see if the power supply was damaged or it output to weak and is causing the issue. with the mb off use the usb flashback port and the newest bios file.
Crosshair V Formula-Z BIOS 1701
Improve system stability.
run the bios renamer and then run the usb flashback twice to reflash both bios.

the asus bios changed from .rom to .cap. the bios rename renames the 1701 bios file to one the usb flash back is looking for. to use it download it from asus here.
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/CROSSHAIR_V_FORMULAZ/#support
under bios-utilitys.
unzip the program and copy it to the bios folder and then click on it.
the bios will go from 1701 to a short name.cap
copy the renamed fiel to a usb stick and your all set to update your bios.

Solution
is it saying hit f1 to set bios up??? if it is go into the bios and hit save factory setting and exit. if the error is doing it over and over...check that the cmos battery not broken off the mb or the cmos jumper on the wrong pin or missing. also check that the video card not shorting out the mb or the mb shorting out to the case tray.

Yes it is saying 'hit F1 to set BIOS up" I did save the factory settings and I exited. After the computer reset itself it prompted me to "Please update to the latest BIOS version using EZ Flash 2. Press F1 to run setup."

I followed all of your steps one more time and I am now on Windows. It is currently opening the programs I have set to open when I start my computer. I believe, just like in the past, it will only be a matter of time before the computer decides to turn itself off.

I'm assuming thats a program I have to download and install from the internet? Whenever my computer boots up, the Windows logo stop spinning for a second or two. After I log in to my user account, the computer stays on for a minute.

I went out and got another psu (Corsair CX750M) and now when I startup my computer my mobo is telling me there's something wrong with my RAM. The error code says FF. I tried using one stick of RAM, same error. I tried different slots, same error.

After continuously taking hardware out, and replacing everything back, I managed to get past the RAM issue. Now I'm back where I started, in this never ending cycle of updating my BIOS. Everytime I'm able to log on to Windows (which I reinstalled) I update a few things. I installed drivers, some programs etc. The computer has yet to shut down on me on its own. But everytime I manually restart the computer It brings me back to the BIOS menu telling me I need to "press F1 to setup" or that my "mobo bios is corrupted please update"
